Speed Demon - Live Fast - Drive Slow

I'm Jon Fischer. I'm a competitive Freeride Skier, Technologist and Entrepreneur.

I invented the Speed Demon to reduce teen driving fatalities. Almost 7000 teens die in automobile fatalities every year. Most of these deaths occur on roads with posted speeds below 55 MPH. My software for secondary road speeding alerts is patent pending, no other wireless device on the market can distinguish between highway and secondary road speeding.

Speed Demon
  • Patent Pending Technology
  • Highway and Secondary Road Speeding Alerts
  • Assistance Request Button
  • Tamper Detection
  • Easy to install and use

The Speed Demon uses GPS and the AT&T/Cingular GSM network to alert parents and teens if they are driving too fast.

I designed the Speed Demon to be really easy to use. Just attach it to the dashboard and plug it in. Register your device online, set the highway and secondary road speed limits and curfew times, enter up to four email addresses and four mobile phone text message numbers and your installation will be complete. The Speed Demon will notify you within seconds of a speeding or curfew alert. For more information about the alert just log into your online account and view a Google map showing the time, date, position, direction and speed of vehicle.

The Speed Demon also has an Assistance Request Button. Pressing the button will send a request for assistance with the vehicle location to your contact lists.

Privacy is very important to us. I designed the Speed Demon to protect the privacy rights of teenagers. The Speed Demon is the only device on the market that just reports speeding alerts, constant tracking is disabled. I want teens to be free to go where they want as long as they are driving safely.

I want to help parents and teen drivers to talk about the dangers of speeding. I don’t want one more kid to die in a high speed crash. Go out and have fun, but DON'T SPEED. If you want some excitement, take up Freeride Skiing like me.
